Google launched a program “Google Person Finder” to help reconnect people after Typhoon Yolanda

As Super Typhoon Yolanda (international codename: Haiyan) struck the Southern part of the Philippines, death toll is continue to rise while the number of missing people is still not accounted.

Google person finderAimed to help people find their loved ones, friends and family members, Google launched the Person Finder.

Google Person Finder is an open source web application that provides a registry and message board for survivors, family, and loved ones affected by a natural disaster to post and search for information about each other’s status and whereabouts.
