Filipinos are among the top countries who love online shopping. Can this drone will able to deliver orders to the Philippines?
As we catch up for “what’s new” in the digital world, a news broke yesterday that Amazon is planning to use drones to deliver your order just in front of your doors.
Amazon is the world’s largest ecommerce retailer. It currently employs more than 43,200 people in 18 U.S. states and 14 international locations.
In Amazon’s mission statement, the company says it’s working towards becoming “Earth’s most customer-centric company where people can find and discover anything they want to buy online.”
So why drone is a big idea? In futuristic point of view, anything that can reduce urban congestion, minimize carbon emissions, save money and save trips will drive huge value in the economy and make our lives better. But there is always other side of the coin. Use of drones may prejudice privacy and a threat to people’s security.
